Tanu started her professional journey in 2003 as a junior content writer after completing her Master's in English from Delhi University. She has worked with US-based online business intelligence group InfoUSA as a content writer and was promoted to Quality Analyst later. In 2006, she joined NDTV-Genpact joint venture NGEN that provides transcription services to US-based media houses like NBC, CBC, and ABC as an Associate Producer. She was also in charge of quality checks for subtitling services for SDI Media, one of the major subtitling companies in the world. In 2010, she joined WNS, a multinational business intelligence services provider as an assistant manager and handled a team of more than 15 business analysts, providing news and the latest happenings in a wide range of industries like pharmaceutical, oil, and gas, automobiles, etc. to UK based online news portal Business Monitor International. Tanu also has a post-graduate diploma in mass communication and journalism.
