What is Group Ordering?
Group ordering is a feature that allows multiple people to add their food selections to the same order from different devices, with all meals delivered to the same location at the same time.
If you are an assistant to the organization’s leaders, order a group account for team brainstorming sessions to create an invigorating work atmosphere. If you are an Executive Assistant, create a group account for executive conferences.
If you are responsible for a workplace or facility, create a group account to express appreciation to your facility services employees. If you are a marketing manager, create a group account for food service delivery during an event.
For the best possible group ordering experience, we would recommend the following:
- Set a spend limit- If you will be paying for the entire order, establish a maximum spend limit per person before sending access to the group order to control overall costs.
- Limit your order to 15 meals at a time: While many restaurants are not able to fulfill more than 15 orders at the same time, an alternative option would be to schedule the order ahead of time if ordering for large groups.
It is possible to use group ordering to make team lunches an opportunity for people to take breaks from their work, build relationships with each other, and remain social and connected to each other while working from home, as many employees are currently doing. By utilizing small ways like this for connecting with others inside and outside of your office, everyone will feel more at ease and productive working together.
