What is a Performance Report?

The Performance Reports provide managers with useful data insights to assess the performance of different areas of the restaurant.

In short, the performance report contains information about sales trends, number of orders, average ticket size, performance of individual menu items and employees, all of which are generated from the restaurant POS system.

How do Performance Reports work?

Operational information and transactional data are collected regularly by restaurant POS systems.

The information is then aggregated and used to generate reports that allow business owners to monitor important KPIs for their entire enterprise, such as:

  • Daily Sales
  • Time Periods with the Highest Volume of Sales
  • Highest Selling Menu Items
  • Revenue by Each Location or Sales Channel

Performance reports can be accessed via the dashboard or data export for managers to help identify trends, uncover inefficiencies, and make informed decisions.

Consistent usage of performance reports will ultimately lead to increased profitability through optimized operations and improved overall restaurant performance.
